Brother Myron L. Rolle Named Rhodes Scholar

December 1, 2008

Brothers:

As members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. celebrate the achievements of Brother Myron Rolle, the world is getting to know that Kappa Alpha Psi has added another brilliant Rhodes scholar to the elite academic fraternity. It has been my privilege to know and work with Brother Cleophus Thomas, Jr., Esq., our Legal Counsel, who walked the halls of Cambridge as a Rhodes scholar and has contributed mightily to his alma mater, the University of Alabama, as well as his many achievements as a lawyer, entrepreneur and philanthropist. Brother Thomas is a proud man today, knowing that "Training for Leadership" is a process that bears fruit among Kappas and all mankind.

Brother Rolle gives credence to Kappa's goal to "achieve in all fields of human endeavor," and demonstrates that stellar athletes can be stellar scholars. He is a humble achiever, who recognizes that academics is his primary goal and that he can couple it with athletics without compromising his goals of ultimate achievement in each.

Brothers, whenever you get an opportunity to encourage Brother Rolle, or to share the good news of his achievements with others, please do so and let the world know that he is a Kappa and that we're so proud of him and his family.
